ADA-Compliant Pool Hand Rails
 

Parrish Pools offers a full line of ADA-Compliant Rails for Swimming Pools and Spas.  Please visit the links below for the different types of pool and/or spa railings.

New rules have been adopted into ADA-compliant building codes for new and existing recreational facilities, including swimming pools and spas.   These standards will become federal law on March 15, 2011, and compliance is required by March 15, 2012.   Compliance with the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design for pools and spas will be required for all pools and spas that serve the public.   This will be a federal civil law finally awarding pool and spa accessibility to elderly folks and people with special needs. 

Parrish Pools carries a number of lifts that fully comply with the New Design standards.  The Sling and Chain Style lifts do not meet the new requirements; instead the lift needs to be self-assisting where the operator in the chair has full control.  It is always recommended that you swim with a friend.
