Backer Rod for Expansion Joint Repairs
 

Backer Rod is a round, flexible, continuous-length, non-absorbent, non-gassing, non-staining, and non-shrinking material extruded from a closed-cell polyolefin.  For swimming pools, it acts as a support base for expansion joints between the coping stones and pool decking.  It controls the depth of the joint and prevents sealant run-out through the bottom of the joint.  The Backer Rod acts as a bond breaker to prevent bottom side sealant adhesion.

Easy to Apply, Backer Rod provides correct form and Controls Depth for Proper Joint Configurations.  Provides a smooth, level surface inside the joint so that you can pour the Deck-O-Seal Expansion Joint Filler.  Fast and Easy to Apply.  Sold in Full Cartons or by the Foot.
